The San Francisco Giants have fired manager Bob Melvin just months after his option for the 2026 season was picked up in July, former catcher turned president of baseball operations Buster Posey confirmed in a statement.
Melvin, 63, went 161-163 in two seasons, which included an 81-81 finish in 2025.
