UTICA, N.Y. (WUTR/WFXV) -- Good afternoon! We’ve got a really nice stretch of weather ahead, and it’s all thanks to a big dome of high pressure sitting over us. That means dry skies all week long — but also some big temperature changes.
To start the week, it’s feeling warmer than average, with highs in the 70s and nighttime lows in the 40s and 50s. You may notice some valley fog forming at night and early mornings.
By midweek, though, we’ll get a true taste of fall. Cooler Canadian air moves in Wednesday and Thursday, and highs drop into the 60s. At night, it turns downright chilly, with lows dipping into the 30s and 40s. Some of those sheltered valleys could even see patchy frost, maybe even a light freeze, on Wednesday night. Bright sunshine stays with us, but it’ll feel much crisper.
