MrBeast is responding to fiery criticism over his latest stunt.

The YouTuber (real name Jimmy Donaldson ) spoke out after posting a video titled " Would You Risk Dying For $500,000? " on Sept. 27, which showed a man navigating a series of what MrBeast described as fire-based "death traps" for a chance to win $500,000.

Among the many challenges the player faced included being locked inside of a burning building, jumping through rings of fire and being shot out of a cannon.
