Vermont State Police said they seized methamphetamine after a traffic stop late last week and local officials say the drug appears to be featuring more prominently in Rutland’s substance-abuse landscape.

Police said they are looking for Cody Tracy, a 31-year-old Granville, New York, man with three warrants for his arrest in Vermont and one in New York, after he fled from police following a traffic stop on Dorr Drive in Rutland Town Thursday. Police said they tried to pull Tracy over for an “observed violation” shortly before midnight and he drove off in a “grossly negligent manner.”
