**Ottawa Police Seek Additional Victims in Stalking Case** Ottawa police are urging potential victims to come forward following the arrest of Justin Ricardo Jean Baptiste, who faces multiple charges in a serial stalking investigation. Jean Baptiste, a man in his late 20s, has been charged with 20 counts of criminal harassment, three counts of sexual assault, one count of mischief under $5,000, and one count of having his face disguised. The charges stem from four separate incidents that occurred in the city’s east end between July 15 and September 10. According to police, Jean Baptiste allegedly followed individuals on the street, assaulted them, and made unwanted physical contact. In some instances, he reportedly posed as a client at professional service businesses, where he is accused of inappropriately touching staff, following them home, and harassing them. Police have described Jean Baptiste as a Black man with a slender build who wears glasses. They are concerned that there may be more victims who have not yet come forward. To assist in identifying these individuals, police have released a photograph of the suspect. “We are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying potential witnesses or victims who have been followed by the accused and/or inappropriately touched or attempted to be touched,” police stated. They also encourage anyone who has provided professional services to Jean Baptiste and experienced inappropriate behavior to reach out. Anyone with information is asked to contact the East End Investigations Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 3566. Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online. Police have not disclosed whether the complainants are male, female, or both, as they continue their investigation into the case.
