FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. – The UNC Pembroke soccer team racked up another shutout, this time in a 1-0 road victory over Emmanuel in Conference Carolinas action Saturday night at Emmanuel Soccer Field.

Mercy Bell notched the lone goal for the Braves on an assist from Eugenie Amidou.

The shutout was the fifth-straight for the Black & Gold, who have given up just a combined 16 shots on goal across the streak. It is the program’s first five-game shutout streak since the 2008 team rattled off six consecutive clean sheets.

The Braves (5-2-0, 5-0-0 CC) improved to 4-0-1 in the all-time series with the Lions (2-5-0, 2-3-0 CC).
