A second candidate has announced a bid for Clark County prosecutor.
Alysha Chandra, 35, of Battle Ground is running on a promise to protect victims, hold criminals accountable and fix a broken system. She launched her campaign Friday and will face Senior Deputy Prosecutor Laurel Smith , who is in the running for the position.
Smith has been campaigning since early September and received support from current Clark County Prosecutor Tony Golik, who will retire at the end of his term in 2026 after serving 16 years in the elected position.
