MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) -- A Cracker Barrel-owned breakfast spot in Myrtle Beach has closed amid slumping sales tied to the parent company's failed logo change.

Maple Street Biscuit Company in the Publix plaza off Duck Wood Drive suddenly closed last week following an earnings call where Cracker Barrel CEO Julie Masino announced a revenue dip.

Cracker Barrel said it was closing 14 Maple Street Biscuit Company locations across six states, including its stores in Charleston and Myrtle Beach.

"We have made the difficult decision to close our Myrtle Beach location. We appreciate the continued support of the many guests who have dined with us at this location over the years, and thank our team members for their passion and dedication to Maple Street," a phone recording says.
