SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – It's a pet's day out at the 2025 Super Retriever Series, which will be followed by Pet Palooza a one-day community event for pets and pet lovers.

Running, jumping, and diving, the three-event show will showcase dogs of all breeds' ability to not only jump, but also put their speed to the test.

Organizers say over $100k in cash and prizes are available for winners who come out as top dog.

According to the event rulebook, each event is crafted to be very similar to track and field.

The Super Fly event is the dog version of the long jump. Handlers will throw the pooch's favorite toy, each dog will run and jump off the dock with distance to where they land.
