TMZ broke the news about the split on Monday, sharing that insiders revealed that the Hollywood stars have taken a break from their marriage.

Sources told the outlet that Nicole and Keith, who've been married since 2006, have been living separately "since the beginning of summer."

They also revealed that their two children have been in Nicole's care as the actress is "holding the family together through this difficult time since Keith has been gone."
