Victim who died after attack near Camp Randall identified

MADISON, Wis. -- The Dane County Medical Examiner's Office identified the man who died following an attack near Camp Randall on Sept. 20.

Mark A. Tiggelaar, 62, of Fitchburg died as a result of homicidal blunt force trauma at the 10 block of North Breese Terrace . A forensic autopsy was completed at the medical examiner's office on Saturday. Additional testing is underway.

Tiggelaar was pronounced deceased at a local hospital on Thursday.

Officers arrested Keith Jones who was co-workers with Tiggelaar according to police. Jones was off the clock but still in uniform when the attack occurred.

Jones was taken into custody the afternoon of Sept. 20 without incident. He is in custody at the Dane County Jail on charges of aggravated battery with intent to cause great bodily harm, robbery an
