BOSTON —
Boston police have released images of people they say are involved in an attack on a gay couple in the city's Mattapan neighborhood two weeks ago.
At about 7:45 p.m. on Sept. 13, police responded to the area of 550 River St. for a reported fight.
One of the victims told police that he and his partner were walking toward a convenience store when a nearby group of men began hurling anti-gay comments at them.
The victim said that a verbal dispute, which later led to a physical altercation, began after he and his partner approached the group.
