Steven Pressley is confident captain Simon Murray will be fit to lead Dundee up at Aberdeen. ‌

The Dark Blues captain missed the weekend defeat to St Mirren with a sickness bug. ‌

Pressley is keeping his fingers crossed that the experienced striker has now made a full recovery and will return to training on Tuesday ahead of Sunday’s Premiership clash at Pittodrie. ‌

The Dundee head coach acknowledged: “Simon was a blow at the weekend. To lose him in the morning of the game was disappointing.

“He was sick for a lot of Saturday, sick when we arrived at the hotel for pre-match. He went home in a taxi and was sick a number more times in the evening.
