ARLINGTON, Ohio — The Archbold girls golf team finished first at the Northwest Division II district tournament at Sycamore Springs Golf Course in Arlington, Ohio, on Monday to advance to next week’s state tournament.

The Bluestreaks posted a team score of 369, four shots clear of second-place Wynford (373).

Brie Grime paced Archbold after carding a round of 83 that put her tied for sixth on the individual leaderboard. The Bluestreaks’ other top performers were Brooklyn Rodriguez (92, T-17th), Ella Yoder (95, 24th), and Payton Dominique (99, T-35th).

Wauseon finished third as a team with a score of 379 and were led by Ruth Shelt’s 78 that placed her third overall. Hayden Konieczka was tied for 17th with a 92 and Kali Spengler was tied for 57th with a 104.
