HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Several areas in Honolulu were out of power Monday afternoon, according to the Hawaiian Electric Company.
Just after 1 p.m., HECO’s outage website showed about 3,300 customers were without power in multiple areas, including Ala Moana, Kakaako, Kapahulu, Manoa, McCully, Moiliili, and Waikiki.
The estimated restoration time is 2 p.m., the website said.
The cause is not known at this time.
HECO posted on social media around 12:20 p.m. that 1,200 customers were without power in the Waikiki area.
First responders were en route, HECO said.
