SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - The City of South Bend and La Casa de Amistad are teaming up to honor local Hispanic leaders for Hispanic Heritage Month.
Angelica Duarte, Félix Márquez-Snyder and Juan Hernandez Jr. will all be recognized for their contributions to the South Bend community.
The three leaders are being honored this week with a digital billboard at Michigan Street and Ireland Road.
“It’s important that we recognize the significant achievements that our Hispanic leaders make in our community,” said South Bend Mayor James Mueller in a statement. “I am honored to provide this special thank you and recognition to these deserving leaders for their service and countless contributions to South Bend.”
The billboard will be on display throughout this week.
