NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - North Charleston Police have released a statement following a disturbance involving a youth at a CVS pharmacy on Thursday.
Officers responded around 1:32 p.m. to CVS at 5215 Ashley Phosphate Road for a 911 call about a disturbance with a youth.
“The caller reported that a male individual inside the store was yelling, using profane language, and had allegedly threatened staff. It was also indicated that the individual may have been armed with a knife, Chief Ron Camacho said in a statement.
Officers found a teen matching the suspect description. After a brief struggle, police detained them. Police did not find a weapon, and no injuries were reported.
