PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A heroic rescue caught on camera shows the moments a Valley man trudged through a flooded freeway to help save two women.

This happened on Friday on the U.S. 60 on-ramp. Several cars got stuck in the water, and at one point, two women were stranded with no way to get out.

Marsa Decker was one of those women. She says she was driving from Queen Creek to Scottsdale when she hit major flooding on the freeway.

“There was no indication that there was anything you should be looking out for. As soon as you made that turn to go on the on-ramp, there was a wall of water,” Decker said.

She says she made it three-quarters of the way before her car completely shut off. “Cars were continuing to come around us, and we were like this floating boat that has no control,” Decker sa
