JEFF DAVIS PARISH, La. (KPLC) - The Jeff Davis Parish School Board is in the early stages of revamping schools across the parish with building upgrades, new facilities, and a new security system, making safety a top priority.
Superintendent John Hall says Jennings High School is about to enter its second phase of improvements.
“A lot of smaller things that are outside, maybe some security lighting, some painting. We’re going to look at putting speed bumps down. We also have some athletic improvements that we are doing to our baseball and softball fields and possibly our tennis courts,” Hall said.
Hall said the school board is doing a needs assessment with a list of things that need to be done to Jennings High and the James Ward Center of Excellence. Once that is completed, they’ll begin
