HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - Week six of the high school football is now behind us, and there is some movement in the WYMT Alice Lloyd College Mountain Top 10.
The WYMT ALC MTN Top 10 is as follows:
Johnson Central (6-0): The Golden Eagles started district play with a 21-14 triumph against Boyd County. Jesse Peck’s offense is averaging 35.8 points per game, while their defense is holding opponents to 16.5 points per game. According to KHSAA, the Golden Eagles are the number one team in their class (4A) in RPI. Johnson Central leads the state in rushing yards with 2,275 and have amassed 28 touchdowns on the ground.
