The US Department of Education will resume accepting applications for $270 million in student mental health grants that were canceled last spring. Notices are set to be published in the Federal Register on Monday. The grants cover two programs: the School-Based Mental Health Services Grant Program and the Mental Health Service Professional Demonstration Grant Program. The programs were originally approved by Congress but were discontinued by the department. The department said the grants conflicted with priorities under the Trump administration.
