GHENT, WV (WVNS) -- "Take Me Home, Country Roads" is the official state song, and arguably the anthem of West Virginia, but how can the state keep people coming in on those country roads instead of taking them to leave the Mountain State?

Lisa Strader, Executive Director of Visit Southern West Virginia, said one of West Virginia's biggest exports is unfortunately, the young adults just starting out in the world.

She said they are looking at opportunities outside the state that they believe are better what is offered here.

However, Strader believes that many of them will come back.
