State Rep. Robert E. Craven Sr., a North Kingstown Democrat and former state prosecutor who is an assistant solicitor in Westerly and Charlestown, as well as a probate judge in the latter community, has announced his campaign for Rhode Island attorney general.
Craven, 69, made the announcement Monday morning, officially filing campaign documents with the state Board of Elections.
He aims to succeed Attorney General Peter F. Neronha, a Democrat who is term limited and has been mentioned as a possible candidate for governor.
