DUNLAP, Ill (WMBD) -- Dunlap schools' new addition will make it easier for students and parents alike to navigate the school grounds.

The middle and high schools have struggled with congested traffic issues with just one entrance in or out on W. Legion Hall Road. On Tuesday, Sept. 30, those burdens will be lifted.

Superintendent of Dunlap Community Unit School District 323 Dr. Scott Dearman said that having the new entrance will solve some issues with traffic.

"What's going to be nice is we'll have two dedicated lanes coming in off of Cedar Hills and one lane will lead right in front of the high school building, which will take you directly to Dunlap Middle School," Dearman said. "And then the second lane will take you to the student parking lot."
