The Miami Dolphins may be without their WR1 for a significant period.

Tyreek Hill needed to be carted off on Monday Night Football vs. the New York Jets after his left leg bent awkwardly when being tackled following a catch.

The Dolphins ruled Hill out with a knee injury and said he was taken to a local hospital to undergo imaging, evaluation and observation.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported , citing sources, that the Dolphins fear Hill dislocated his knee.

Hill's injury occurred early in the third quarter on an out route. The medical staff stabilized his leg with a cast as teammates came to check on him.

The 31-year-old showed good spirits after being taken away on the cart.
