COLUMBUS, Ohio — Defensive end Caden Curry put together a dominant performance in Ohio State football’s Big Ten opener at Washington on Saturday, and he was recognized accordingly by the conference as a result.

Curry was named the Big Ten’s defensive player of the week Monday. The honor came after he collected 11 tackles, five tackles for loss and three sacks in a victory against the Huskies.
