PEARL RIVER, La. —

The Pearl River Police Department has arrested a man accused of attacking a person inside a Waffle House.

The incident happened around 10:45 p.m.

Hutchinson is accused of acting belligerent inside the restaurant, using profanity and attacking another customer, according to police.

Police say the customer who was hurt in the incident was treated for their injuries at the scene.

Hutchinson was taken into custody and is facing charges of simple battery and disturbing the peace.

He was booked into the St. Tammany Parish Jail.
