DUBLIN -- Jaylen Warren’s surprise knee injury throughout last week was an issue for the Pittsburgh Steelers , and when he could not play, it could have spelled doom for the team, which has used Warren as an engine.
Instead, Kenneth Gainwell went for 99 rushing yards, the first to hit the number or more in his first Steelers start since James Conner in 2018. He had one that stuck out for the ages with two touchdowns, too. Conner was the last running back to hit that mark, as well, when combined with the over 125 total yards Gainwell had on the day.
