King's Melbourne front row teammate Stefano Utoikamanu lit a fuse on Monday when he said he was ready to target "stuck up" Bronocs players.
The pointed comment was taken by football media to refer to Brisbane's Haas, regarded by most as the No.1 front rower in the game.
"I'm keen to go out there and run someone over," Utoikamanu said. "There are going to be a lot of people I want to run at, a lot of people I don't like on this team.
"I don't want to name names, there a lot of people I think are a bit stuck up," he said.
