HOUSTON – Concentrating on the big picture, especially a struggling offense and delegating authority, Texans coach DeMeco Ryans had defensive coordinator Matt Burke call the plays Sunday against the Tennessee Titans.

The results were ideal as the Texans earned their first shutout victory in the Ryans era in a 26-0 win at NRG Stadium. It marked the third shutout in Texans franchise history and first since Nov. 28, 2010 against the Titans.

Burke has called plays previously in the preseason for the Texans. This was his first time in the regular season as he and Ryans collaborated on the defensive game plan.
