Clapsticks echoed in a residential block in the Victorian town of Morwell as more than 200 people escorted the family of Kaiden Morgan to his memorial site.

Young Indigenous men and women gathered to honour their fallen friend, whose love of cultural dancing had recently taken him all over Australia as he performed with the Boorun Boys.

They walked to support the family as they retraced the 18-year-old's last steps.
