A STUNNED Patrick Mahomes has sent his best wishes to Tyreek Hill after the wideout's nightmare Monday Night Football.

The former Kansas City Chiefs receiver suffered a gruesome knee injury playing for the Miami Dolphins.

Hill, 31, spent the first six seasons of his NFL career playing for the Chiefs.

He won the Super Bowl alongside quarterback Mahomes in 2019.

The 31-year-old was injured on Monday during the third quarter of Miami's 27-21 win over the New York Jets .

Hill made a catch by the Jets sideline but landed awkwardly on his left leg.

Following lengthy treatment he was carted to the locker room.

ESPN abruptly cut to a commercial break from the live TV coverage as was the severity of the injury.
