Millions of eBay users are being warned about a major change to the online marketplace that is set to take place next week. While eBay may boast that it is "free to sell" on its site, the same can't be said for posting the items. ‌

The Royal Mail will be increasing the cost of postage charged to buyers and sellers as of October 6. This increase in price is set to impact both marketplace sellers as well as individuals who use the platform. ‌

Currently, eBay generally gives their customers the option of who delivers their purchases - either Evri or Royal Mail. With this impending price hike, more shoppers may now turn to Evri for their services instead. ‌
