A man has tragically lost his life after falling through a skylight at a play centre in Suffolk. ‌

David Linyard was working as a contractor at Play2Day in Martlesham when the incident occurred back in June. He unfortunately died from his injuries at Addenbrooke's Hospital. ‌

The play centre was closed to children whilst maintenance work was underway, reports the Mirror . ‌

A spokeswoman for the centre stated: "We were informed by the family of Mr David Linyard that he had tragically died of injuries sustained in an accident whilst carrying out routine maintenance on the roof of our Play2Day children's play centre at Martlesham Heath, Ipswich.
