Craig Bellamy has included Daniel James in his Wales squad for next month’s internationals despite concerning rumours over his fitness.
The Leeds United winger has struggled with bouts of injury since suffering a hamstring setback in April. An issue in pre-season was followed by a whack to the torso against Fulham, which forced him off the field shortly after entering as a substitute.
James had initially been benched at Craven Cottage due to fitness issues following his outings for Wales earlier this month. He missed the win over Wolverhampton Wanderers as a result of his knock at Fulham but returned to the squad against Bournemouth , though didn’t get onto the pitch.
Rumours have since circulated that the 27-year-old is set for a longer spell out of action with a new issue. This
