NEW DELHI: Chaitanyanand Saraswati, a 62-year-old self-styled godman and former chairperson of a centrally approved private institute in New Delhi, was confronted with his two women aides on Tuesday regarding allegations of sexually harassing 17 students. The aides allegedly threatened victims and forced them to delete lewd messages from Saraswati. Police discovered multiple chats with women on Saraswati's phones, where he attempted to lure them with false promises. His devices also contained photographs of him with air hostesses and screenshots of women's display pictures. "He has shown no remorse for his actions and has been giving evasive replies," said a police officer.
