ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. (WAVY) -- Officers with the Elizabeth City Police Department served warrants for 13 individuals during the week of September 22-26, police said.
According to officials, with assistance from the North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement, North Carolina Probation and Parole, Pasquotank County Sheriff's Office, State Bureau of Investigations and the District Attorney Office, 13 people were arrested during a warrant round up known as "Operation: Taking Back Our City."
In addition to the arrests, officers stated that on Friday, Sept. 26, 21 citations and 22 warning tickets were given out, including possession of marijuana, carrying a concealed weapon, open container, consuming alcohol on premises, DWLR, expired tags, ABC violations, expired plates, paraphernalia, tint violat
