EAST HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) - A man was struck and killed by a driver in East Hartford over the weekend.

According to police, the 60-year-old victim was crossing Silver Lane at the time.

Officers responded to the scene around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The victim was treated on the scene but pronounced dead one they arrived at the hospital. An identity was not released.

The driver cooperated with police.

The investigation remained active as of Tuesday morning. No arrests were made.
