ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A stolen car chase that caused property damage and nearly injured Greece police officers ended in an arrest.
On Monday afternoon, the Greece Police Department responded to reports of a suspicious man checking vehicles in the area of Forgham Road and Stonecliff Drive. They said they found the suspect, who took off in a stolen car.
The vehicle was later found at Columbus Park where the suspect struck a portable restroom, guardrail, and a patrol vehicle. Officers said the suspect nearly struck two officers when he tried driving away.
The chase continued into Rochester before ending in the area of Britton Road and Sterling Square when the suspect got out and tried to run. He was arrested. The car was recovered, but it sustained around $2,000 in damage. Nobody was in
