Whereas other orchestras might raise their nose at the thought of rock or pop shows, Thachuk has openly embraced them. To the point they’re among the bestselling concerts of the season.

And where other orchestras might be snobs about ticket prices, Thachuk instituted a tiered pricing system, enabling people to see shows on the cheap they’d otherwise skip.
