SHREVEPORT, La. - The Shreveport Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Oscar Castillo, who is wanted on an arrest warrant related to a sexual assault investigation.

On July 2, 2025, Shreveport police were assigned a sexual assault investigation involving a 10-year-old victim. The child disclosed details of the assault during the interview. The suspect was later identified by the victim in a photo line-up.

Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Castillo on July 24, 2025, on the charges of indecent behavior with a juvenile and misdemeanor sexual battery.
