OPELIKA, Ala. (WRBL) — A man who was wanted for causing over $2,500 in damages to property in Downtown Opelika has been arrested, police say.

According to the Opelika Police Department, 25-year-old Dylan McIver Paulk was arrested in the early morning hours of Sept. 30. Auburn Police arrested Paulk at a residence in Auburn, turned him over to OPD and was then booked on a Criminal Mischief charge in the First Degree.

On Sunday, Opelika officers responded to reports of graffiti throughout the downtown Opelika area.

Police say security footage captured four suspects reportedly spray-painting multiple buildings, vehicles, and other property in the area between 2:30 a.m. and 4:15 a.m.
