The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has formally recommended banning Harvard University from getting any federal funding in the future.
The move comes three months after the department accused the university of violating civil rights laws, saying they didn't do enough to prevent antisemitism on campus.

The department says Harvard has been notified of its right to an administrative hearing and now has 20 days to reply.
This is not the first time Harvard has been targeted by the Trump administration. Back in June, the federal government canceled nearly $3 billion in funding, which a federal judge later ruled was illegal.
