The Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 will be played from 30 September to 2 November 2025 in India and Sri Lanka. Eight top women’s cricket teams will fight for the ODI world title.

The tournament follows a round-robin and knockout format, with matches spread across major venues. This World Cup is special for India as the country co-hosts it and also fields a strong squad led by Harmanpreet Kaur.

Format of the Tournament

Teams : India, Sri Lanka, Australia, England, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Bangladesh.

Stage 1 – Round Robin : Each team plays against the other seven once.

Stage 2 – Knockouts : The top four qualify for the semi-finals, followed by the final. Final : Scheduled for 2 November, in Navi Mumbai or Colombo depending on results. Venues
