Bengaluru: As the Dasara festival approaches in Mysuru, the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) said on Monday that bus fares between Bengaluru and Mysuru will be higher than usual. The price will go up by Rs 20 to Rs 30 for express, non-stop, and premium buses.

The KSRTC shared that this fare hike is not new and has been followed for the last 20 years during certain festival days to cover extra costs. The transport body also mentioned that the Government of Karnataka allows such fare changes during festivals, holidays, or other special times.
