The New York Lottery today announced one second-prize-winning ticket was sold for the Sept. 29 Powerball drawing, making one lucky player a millionaire overnight.
The $1 million ticket was sold at East Side Grocery, located at 1422 2nd Ave. in Manhattan, according to lottery officials.
The winning numbers are: 1, 3, 27, 60, 65 and red Powerball 16.
The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69, with the red Powerball drawn from a separate field of one to 26. Drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
