Sen. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) appears to be somewhat receptive to President Donald Trump’s newest call to action.

Trump, in a post on his Truth Social platform, announced on Monday that he will impose a 100% tariff on “any and all movies that are made outside of the United States.”

“Our movie making business has been stolen from the United States of America, by other Countries, just like stealing ‘candy from a baby,’” Trump wrote, before taking aim at California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D): “California, with its weak and incompetent Governor, has been particularly hard hit!”
