Police are searching for a man who was reported missing from a group home in Whitman, Massachusetts, on Monday afternoon.

John Madden, 57, reportedly walked away from the home on Park Avenue around 3:30 p.m. on Monday. He was later seen on surveillance footage near Town Hall.

Madden has health issues and there are concerns for his well-being, according to police.

Madden is described as 5-foot-9, around 180 pounds, with brown eyes and dark, shoulder-length hair. He was last seen wearing dark clothing, including a shirt that reads “Jimmy G. Containers."

Anyone who sees Madden or has information on his whereabouts is urged to call police or 911.
