EDINBURGH, IN — This small town sitting 40 minutes south of Indianapolis on I-65 clearly has great pride in its school district. Coming off the highway, the first marker isn’t for the town itself but for the Edinburgh School Corporation, the home of the Lancers.
One family moved here this year, excited about what their new life would bring them and their kids, with one son smiling for the first time in a long time.
“He felt like everything was going perfectly, and he was super excited about being on the football team,” the mother said.
Less than two months into the school year, however, the sophomore is taking classes online after he was sent a video of two teammates saying “kill all n------" and a Snapchat message warning him not to come to practice because some players were planning t
