STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.— The Tottenville varsity girls’ swim team topped Curtis, 51-36, on Monday to improve to 2-0 on the season.
The Pirates turned in a string of standout performances, highlighted by first-place finishes from Yeva Radyna (200-yard individual medley, 100-yard butterfly), Lily Price (100-yard freestyle, 100-yard backstroke), Emma Price (50-yard freestyle, 100-yard breaststroke), Ella DiStefano (200-yard medley relay, 200-yard freestyle relay), Adrianna Tragares (200-yard freestyle relay), and Anna Suharev (200- and 500-yard freestyle).
“It was a total team effort where everyone contributed to the win,” said Pirates head coach Steve Doyle.
